Eight years ago I earned your trust and became club President for the first time. Looking back, I'm confident that my fellow club members will agree that it was a very good year. We succeeded in advancing our various club activities and social events. The club Presidents that followed continued the tradition of advancement and today our club is regarded as one of the foremost Rotary clubs in the area.

I want to thank the club members for unanimously recommending me again for President, to lead the club and continue this tradition and success. Thanks to the high caliber and quality of our club members, I'm confident that we will succeed.

I want to thank outgoing President Jacques Deloya and his wife and the outgoing executive management team for their dedicated and wonderful work during this last year.

I want to congratulate and thank Mayor Mr. Eli Abutbul for his part in advancing our club, for his dedicated and fruitful collaboration, for always responding to our needs. Thank you Mayor, sir and I am confident that in the future you will also be responsive to our needs.

I want to thank Mr. Pinni Levy of '‘Rami Levy Shivuk HaShikma'’ for his second ongoing year of significant contribution to the club Student Scholarship Fund. Congratulations and may you continue with your noble deeds.

Personally, I am happy to be part of the Rotary family. My goal as President is the continuation of family unity because unity and friendship is the source of our strength.

In conclusion: I wish good health to all our members and their spouses, I congratulate the members of the new executive team that responded without hesitation to my request, I congratulate the committee heads and committee members and all club members and their spouses, that together we will have a beautiful, successful year.

It is said that ‘a man's best day is when he is granted an opportunity to help his fellow man’. May we always be granted deeds and giving because giving is a symbol of strength.

And together we will empower the Rotary Club of Zichron Yaacov.
